Parties at PLAY grp.
Play Activities.
We offer three party options:
PLAY party - 1.5 hours PLAY in the indoor and outdoor play spaces. This includes 4 Messy & Sensory PLAY stations for the children to enjoy. You will be provided with a list of options to select from or we can design the program for you. ‘Free play’ activities outlined below will also be provided.
MOVE party - Children will participate in a 45 minute physical literacy program facilitated by the party host. Followed by 45 minutes free play in the indoor & outdoor play spaces.
YOGA party - Children will participate in a 45 minute yoga class facilitated by our yoga instructor. Following by 45 minutes free play in the indoor & outdoor play spaces. Indoor* activities will have yoga theme (e.g., mindful colouring, mandala making etc). Yoga parties are available for children 4 years and above.
For ‘free play’ all parties will be set with play activities, including an obstacle course, sand play, blocks, climbing frames and drawing**.
*Or similar activities that are suitable for the age group of the children attending.
Play Space.
You will have private access to our large outdoor play space. This includes large undercover area and large shade sail. This ensures you will be able to attend in all weather conditions.
The session will be hosted and supervised by a PLAY grp staff member who will set the space prior to your arrival (for selected party program, decorating is not completed by PLAY grp, access to pathfinder 30mins prior to party to allow for customer to decorate). They can also facilitate use of a kettle.
Bench seating for adults provided, tables and chairs or picnic rugs available for children. A large table for catering is available also.
A bluetooth speaker is also available for playing music.
Availability & Catering.
PLAY grp will be available for 1.5 or 2 hour bookings, for groups of up to 15 - 25 children. Total group size of 50 (children & adults).
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 1.30pm - 6pm.
Friday’s from 9.30 - 6pm.
Weekends
Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm
Self catering is preferred. We can organise party catering at an additional cost, upon request.
Please bring your own drinks, you may use our kettle and microwave if required. Our fridge space is only suitable to cakes.
Please no ALCOHOL or GLASS.
Pricing.
1.5 hour party - $360 for up to 15 children.
2 hour party - $400 for up to 15 children.
Additional party guests $10 each child.
Includes:
- 1.5 hours exclusive access to the venue
- Play grp Facilitator/Party Host
- Your Choice of PLAY (messy play or sensory play activities), MOVE (physical literacy games, physical activity, fundamental movement activities) OR YOGA (Children’s Yoga class and mindfulness activities).
- All parties include ‘Free play’ as outlined above.

Additional details for all parties:
Each child attending the party must be accompanied and actively supervised by an adult at all times within the PLAY grp studio
Ages of participating children is strictly 6mths-8 years. Yoga parties available for children older than 8 year by request.
The party is self-catering (we have fridge/freezer space for your use, no heating facilities available), please bring your own plates, cups, cutlery, serviettes, etc. hot food can be delivered to the venue, no earlier than 30 minutes before the party.
Party tables and chairs provided for the children and extra tables for food and presents.
Smocks will be provided for art and craft and messy play if required. Please advise parents of all children attending the party that some materials used have the potential to stain clothing. We recommend all children bring a change of clothing.
You can arrive 30 mins prior to the party to set up and we kindly ask that you leave within 15 mins of the finishing time to allow us to clean and reset the studio. Any decorations may be delivered no earlier than 30 minutes before the party. Please take all decorations with you.
Full payment of minimum spend ($360) for parties is required at the time of booking to secure your time and date, with any additional charges paid on the day of the party.
Cancellation policy: All party cancellations must be done in writing via email up until 7 days prior to the booking date and will incur a $100 cancellation fee with the balance of the booking refunded. Any cancellation within 7 days of the booking will not be refunded. If invoice is unpaid full payment will be required. Party can be rescheduled for exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness).
